This hotel does not deserve a 4 stars rating. The breakfast was not good at all. We had to shower with cold water every night because there was no hot water available. Very disappointing!!!

Hospitality is good, rooms are clean but sober colored. Less rating only because, it smells cigarette everywhere.

ROOM The room was large and was kept very clean during my stay. Like others have commented, the bathroom was old and in need of refurbishment. My shower head only dribbled and the sink had a slight slope to it because it was just starting to come away from the wall. STAFF One receptionist was very helpful and communicative. I barely saw the others as they were rarely at their post. But when I did speak to them, they were somewhat dismissive. Apart from the cleaners, the rest of the employees, like many people today, gave priority to their mobile phones than to their actual jobs. FOOD Breakfast started at 8 a.m. except that it's didn't. On a good day the food was still being laid out at 8:20 and on a bad day such basics as milk, tea, juice or yogurts never made an appearance at all. At the time of writing, the cereal dispenser has held the same chocolate flakes for 7 days. The second is dispenser was emptied of white flakes by me a few days ago. It took them 2 days to refill it with chocolate balls. Not trusting the aging flakes, I opted for the new cereal, turned the handle and received a bowl full of chocolate balls and residual white flakes. 2 days after this container has been emptied it had not been washed but simply refilled. One morning when I queried the absence of juice and milk I was informed politely that they were not being offered today because there was none in the hotel, even though the juice glasses and cereal had made an appearance... I personally took a 10-minute round trip to the nearest supermarket and bought my own. I guess this would be an impossible management decision to make. After all I can appreciate that it is virtually impossible to carry a bag of milk cartons and successfully complete level 75 of Candy Crush Saga with just one hand. I only had one evening meal in hotel. I ordered a cheese platter a salad and a steak. When I requested a drink I was told by the bellboy/waiter/barman "no whiskey no cognac and no mixers" and he left without offering or allowing me an alternative. The meal finally arrived, all together, after 50 minutes. Whilst the salad was fine, I have successfully managed to fix a hole in an old shoe with the steak. So it was not all bad news. FACILITIES The Eden Garden is the selling point of this hotel. It is a large, high atrium filled with plants. Here is where people sit and drink coffee (with no milk, I assume) discuss business or work on their laptops. They can also listen to the singing of the caged canaries or watch the employees lounging on the guest sofas, leg up on the armrest texting their friends about the stresses of the modern world! They do not have a gym. What they do have is a cemetery for dead cardiovascular equipment. Whilst the weights are fine, much of the gear is not designed for commercial use and the multi-gym is one twang of a metal cable away from a lawsuit. I did not try the pool, as the collection of debris in the middle and the lack of chlorine smell put me off the idea.. CONCLUSION I would happily visit this place again if my mother was being held captive, if I was starring in some bizarre masochistic reality show or if was the person holding the compulsory repossession papers. It is a shame. The building itself is nice and the atrium is great, but the management is unwilling to give a damn about running the place with any sort of consideration to its guests. 4.5/5 for the cleaners and one receptionist, minus numbers for almost everything else.

I didn't live in hotel, but once tested it for our future guests. Placement of the hotel is very nice - in the city center almost in front of the Embassy of France. It is quiet, and I decided to test the GYM and sauna with small pool. Everything was old, dirty and needed attentive service. All dispencers were empty or broken, so you couldn't have there a water, shampoo and soap. WC was so dirty, I was shocked. There were prepared sleepers, bathrobe, towel for me, but there was no light in the sauna. Walls of the swimming pool were not cleaned, stair was not comfortable. In the GYM most of devices were not in a proper condition, were too old, broken, even watch on the wall didn't operate. By one word saying, it was a "SOMETHING" like GYM and sauna. I don't recommend it for using if you do not want to feel yourself disappointed. Shame on their managers and owners. Finally I have found a nice point in the hotel - winter garden. You can have there some nice minutes for relaxing after shock from GYM and sauna.

The worst hotel I've ever been to. Incredibly dirty, NO SHEETS on the bed!!!! The reception told me we have to deal with this tonight to have the bed sheets tomorrow. Don't even get me started on how long it took to make this dirty/ no bed sheets room ready for us!!! About 2 hours. I seriously don't get the 4 stars, it should have been 1 or something.
