  Simple, cheap Soviet hotel but with very friendly staff. Great location

  Old Soviet style hotel where no one should stay unless he has to, like us, who got stranded in Martuni when it turned night. If you have no other option, ask at least to see your room before paying and check whether warm water is running. If you still can drive for 45 min further, go more westwards along the lake and search for Tsovatsots. We had there a very nice breakfast the next morning and they offer also rooms.
