::I first became aware of this place in the December 24 ARTE report titled "Areni National Park," and I fell in love with the guesthouse and St. Ohannes Church. I've made my decision: I'll be there on January 4, 2025, and celebrate Armenian Christmas on January 6.

::One of the most tastefully done traditional guesthouses in Meghri, if not the whole of Armenia! Not available to book online through the usual sites, but the owner speaks English if you call to arrange a stay. Sumptuous meals are also available, and it's located in the quiet historical district of Pokr Tagh, right next to the newly restored St Sargis Church. Highly recommended!
