  Great place to stay immediately after crossing the Iranian border, especially late in the day and you don't want to travel further in the dark. The hostel is just a simple building in a farm-like environment .. simple, unpretentious but clean. The dining room is a re-purposed container. Very cool. There are no private rooms here, but the 2-bed sharing rooms are spacious and with ensuite bathroom. The owner and his parents run the place. They don't speak much English but their hospitality is warm. Old mother cooks very good Armenian dishes. They have their own garden behind the hostel -- figs, grapes, vegetables etc. The old man makes a mean vodka from their own grapes and figs. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

  We had a very good evening and night at this place. The hostel owner is very nice and friendly and welcoming. It is a new hostel and we hope it will have a good start. We really liked to be there!
