  We spent one night here on the road to Goris. These are small mobile homes on the edge of a lake. A very poorly signposted site. We had a mixed experience at this campsite. First of all, we received an extremely poor welcome from the manager. We don't speak Russian and therefore didn't understand why. She later returned with a fruit platter, perhaps to apologize. We were the only occupants of the place that night. The place is somewhat spooky and probably expensive for the price. The amenities are basic (the fridge is in the owner's lodge, the mattress is too small, Wi-Fi is only available upon request, etc.), and the proximity to the main road makes the place very noisy; sometimes the ground shakes when a truck passes by.

  A modest resort on the lakeshore along the Yerevan-Meghri highway. A quiet, peaceful place, with a polite and hospitable hostess who speaks fluent Russian and German. We stopped late in the evening to spend the night in one of the cottages and then hit the road again the next morning. Thanks to Sonya for the evening tea, the aromatic morning coffee, and the huge bag of delicious local fruit. The park hotel has a boat dock and a pier for fishing and swimming in the lake; summer is probably more fun than fall.

  It's a very beautiful and clean place, there are parking spots there and the lake makes the place calm and relaxing. The only problem is the noise of cars passing from the road.

  I stayed here last summer while travelling towards Goris and Tatev after having visited Khor Virap and Noravank earlier that day. Nice place for a lay-over while travelling between the north and the south of Armenia, very affordable for budget travellers. The child of the owners of this accommodation speaks very good English, I was very impressed! It's definitely helpful for travellers who speak very little Armenian or Russian.

  Remote, no Wi-Fi, place looks like no-one has been here for a long time.
