::The location is fantastic—set in a historic building with beautiful views and a delicious breakfast. During our stay, there was an extended water outage, which was outside of Shahane’s control. However, the bed quality, slow bathroom drainage, and weak WiFi are areas that could be improved. This is a great choice if you’re seeking a unique experience and are willing to trade some comfort for it.

::Amazing place with amazing history. The rooms are comfortable, that view from the balcony is outstanding. You should ask the host to show you the nearby Meghri Monastery which has gorgeous frescos.

::Quiet, comfortable, nice looking rooms in an even better property with so much history. You'll meet Shahane, the queen of Meghri who is passionate about her town. The balcony is where you'll want to spend most of your time.
