::We came to Vazken's guesthouse as guests and left as good friends. This is definitely the best guesthouse in all Armenia for sure don't book anywhere else!! The home is beautiful, very comfy bed and outdoor area to relax. The village is incredible and worth staying for more than just 1 or 2 nights! Vazken is a really good man who looks after his guests properly and really cares. he cooked us fresh delicious food everyday and we had really good times together chatting over food & drink. He even showed us round the village. The homemade jam everyday was amazing. He showed us round his home including his chickens, gardens and also winter storage, he gave us fresh walnuts and pears too which were so tasty. This is a special guesthouse not like lots of others Vazken actually cares about his guests and wants them to have a good experience here in Armenia, the others seem to be focused on money money money. We won't forget Vazken and this place we will return one day to meet his family who are usually there. When we left he called the marshrutka for us, booked us seats and walked us there to say goodbye.

::Vazken's Guest House is just a 10-minute walk from the Wings of Tatev Aerial Tramway station as well as the Tatev Monastery. It's a simple home yet the hospitality is incredible. I was in the middle of my trek from the Devil's brigde / Tatevi Anapat when I messaged Vazken if I can request for food for dinner and I got an instant reply. He also arranged a my transpo back to Goris when I needed to leave early in the morning. If you are looking for an authentic armenian experience in Tatev, this place is highly recommended. Don't be a tourist. Be a traveler and live with the locals. 👍🏻

::I stayed with My small family of three, with Vazken's Family and found it a wonderful experience. We were introduced to other travelers, Welcomed to the family fire, and feed huge meals. Vazken himself is very warm and hospitable gentleman, the room was what you will expect in an Armenian village. Soviet style mattresses, huge thick blankets. Dont be stingy with your cash when you visit, buy one of everything you can, it really helps the people make ends meet.
