::This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. The employees are completely incompetent, showing zero respect or care for their customers or the reputation of the company they represent. Their entire operation feels like a scam. They try to squeeze money out of you at every possible step: 10,000 AMD at the border, then another 2,000 AMD just to hand over the parcel at their own office. YES, YOU READ IT CORRECTLY – not for delivery, but simply for allowing you to pick up your own package from their store. This is outrageous and absurd. Instead of providing a service, they deliberately create obstacles to charge customers more. I would take legal action, but frankly, they are not worth my time or energy. Avoid UPS Armenia AT ALL COSTS – dealing with them is like stepping into a trap.

::Incompetent and unresponsive. None of their telephone numbers work. Their tracking doesn't work. After package leaves Germany for Armenia then there is no information. This is really a third-world company. UPS should be ashamed for contracting with this inept local provider. UPDATE: Even though Amazon.com said the pre-paid shipping includes all fees customs & otherwise, this local "UPS" contractor still forced me to pay an additional unjustified cash "handling fee" to collect my package.

::This company is very good. All staff in this office are wonderful and nice. I understand about ups policy. It's my opinion that office work totally is great. Respond questions is good and just in time. God Save All, we need to help together and work to improve life. Thanks.

::UPS branch in Armenia is just awful. They demanded from me 2000 AMD in cash for the home delivery, although I’ve already paid for door to door delivery. No additional receipts have been provided (of course), pure fraud. Please avoid UPS, I’ve never had such issues with FedEx or DHL.

::Extremely Disappointing Experience with UPS Armenia This was by far the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. Beyond the typical customs and shipping delays, the service I received from the UPS Armenia office was unacceptable. Here’s a summary of the issues I encountered: Lack of Clear Information: I was aware that customs taxes would need to be paid, and I called UPS Armenia multiple times to inquire about the payment process. Each time, I was told, “We’ll handle it when the package arrives or when customs clears it,” with no further guidance or transparency provided. Delivery Delays: After repeated calls where I was assured, “Maybe it will be released tomorrow,” I finally received a call today at 11 AM stating that the package had arrived at their office. They informed me I could pick it up in person or wait for delivery the following day, as deliveries had already started. Considering the original shipping estimate was four business days from Italy, it’s baffling that they needed an additional two days to deliver to a location just 10 minutes from their office. Hidden Fees: I was told I needed to pay 10,000 AMD (approximately $25) for customs release fees—something they never mentioned during my previous calls. I asked about paying the customs taxes and was told I could either pay at the bank or directly at their office. Unprofessional Behavior: When I visited their office and questioned the unexpected customs release fee, the staff was rude and dismissive. Eventually, they told me I didn’t need to pay the fee but insisted that the customs tax had to be paid at the bank, despite earlier claims that it could be handled at their office. Additional Surprise Charges: After paying the customs tax at the bank and returning to their office, I was handed a handwritten receipt stating I owed 6,000 AMD (approximately $15) for customs storage. They claimed this fee was because they had kept the package for over 48 hours—something I was neither informed about beforehand nor responsible for. The entire process was unprofessional, poorly managed, and frustrating. UPS is a globally recognized brand, and this experience does not reflect the standard of service one would expect. I strongly urge UPS to review and improve their operations in Armenia to ensure transparency, professionalism, and timely delivery.
